What is Renewable Energy?

Biomass:

Renewable Biofuels are fuels made from living organisms, such as trees and algae. They are usually burned to produce electricity or to do work, but they can also be used in cars just like gasoline or other petroleum products. This is one of the most controversial sources of clean energy because adding them to our current system would require converting many more acres of land into growing crops just for fuel.
